Parents reject school amalgamation

Parents and teachers at one of Cork’s oldest schools are lashing out at the Bishop of Cork, Dr John Buckley, over his plans to amalgamate the school with another in the area.

Teachers and Parents of Farrenferris secondary school have accused the bishop of stalling for time, by refusing to meet them unless they first meet the department of education.
