The President unveiled a striking sculpture on the grounds of one of the country’s most famous secondary schools yesterday to mark the 125th anniversary of its foundation.

Parents and teachers at one of Cork’s oldest schools are lashing out at the Bishop of Cork, Dr John Buckley, over his plans to amalgamate the school with another in the area.
