Two quizzed over cannabis seizure

Two men are being questioned by gardaí in Dublin in connection with the seizure of €1.3m worth of cannabis resin.

Gardaí from the National Drugs Unit seized the drugs yesterday, following an operation carried out at Oriel Street and the Kilmore area of Coolock.

In total, 100 kilos of the drug was seized following the search of a car and a house in those areas.

Two men were arrested and are being detained at Santry and Store Street garda stations.
