Waterford gardaí investigate stabbing

Gardaí in Waterford are investigating a stabbing incident in the city at about 8.20pm last night.

A man in his 40s is in a stable condition in Waterford regional hospital after being stabbed twice in the side in Gracedieu Heights.

One man was arrested but has since been released and a file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
