Skimming scam with bankcards on the increase

People using bank cards are being advised to be extra vigilant when using ATM machines following an increase in fraud incidents across the country.

'Skimming' is a type of fraud whereby account details from a card's magnetic stripe is electronically copied onto another plastic card.
