An Irish woman was killed when a pickup truck hit the car she was travelling in, authorities in the US said.

An Irish woman was killed when a pickup truck hit the car she was travelling in, authorities in the US said.

Margaret Brohan, 19, of Ennis, Co Clare, died 20 minutes after the early morning accident yesterday in Robinson Township, a Pittsburgh suburb, according to Allegheny County police and the coroner's office.
