Police in the North have arrested two men in their 30s in connection with a suspected arson attack which claimed the life of a fireman in Co Derry nine days ago.

Police in the North have arrested two men in their 30s in connection with a suspected arson attack which claimed the life of a fireman in Co Derry nine days ago.

50-year-old Joe McCloskey died after falling through a roof while tackling the blaze at the Goatees House Hotel in Limavady.

He was the first fire-fighter to die on duty in the North in the past 10 years.

Police investigating the fire are treating it as malicious.
