It’s been revealed that excluding army deafness claims, compensation payouts to soldiers and civilians for personal injury claims has cost the Irish Defence Forces around €25m since 1999.

It’s been revealed that excluding army deafness claims, compensation payouts to soldiers and civilians for personal injury claims has cost the Irish Defence Forces around €25m since 1999.

Most of those claims made in the past four years are for slips and trips, which amounted to €4m in compensation.
