Cocaine seizure: Man due in court

A man is set to appear before court in the North this morning in connection with the largest-ever seizure of cocaine there.

He will come before a special sitting of Craigavon Magistrates court in Co Armagh.

The 33-year-old is accused of having class A drugs and of having drugs with the intent to supply.

Nearly €1.5m of cocaine was recovered on Thursday in Lisburn and Lurgan.
