Ahern to view Mayo landslide devastation

The Taoiseach Bertie Ahern is travelling to north Co Mayo, to view at first hand the devastation caused by the landslides there last month.

Over 40 families had to evacuate their homes, and some have been unable to return since.

Mr Ahern had received some criticism for not visiting the area before now.
