Blair: Adams speech declared 'war is over'

British Prime Minister Tony Blair has claimed that the speech made by Sinn Féin president Gerry Adams yesterday morning declared an end to IRA’s armed struggle.

Speaking in the British House of Commons today, Mr Blair claimed Mr Adams' statement was very significant.
