Man dies in Co Mayo road accident

A man has died after the car he was travelling in collided with another vehicle in Co Sligo yesterday evening.

The accident happened just before 7pm when the car collided with a digger parked on the side of the road in Kileenduff, between Drumore West and Easkey.

The dead man was named locally as Paul Chanaghan, who was in his 40s and from the locality.
