Stadium study close to completion

The Minister for Sport says he is close to finishing his study on a national stadium and says plans could be revealed in just eight weeks.

A new stadium at Abbotstown in West Dublin or an upgrade of Lansdowne Road is believed to be the leading options.

Minister John O'Donoghue says a recommendation is likely to be made to Government before Christmas.
