Baby girl abandoned outside Cork hospital

Gardaí in Co Cork are investigating the discovery of an abandoned three-day-old girl in the grounds of the city’s South Infirmary Hospital yesterday.

The baby was found in a holdall bag that had been left by the boot of a car parked near the front of the hospital.
