Immigration lobby group calls for clearer policy

The Immigrant Council of Ireland has urged the Government to compile a clear policy on immigration as a matter of urgency.

The council said today that the Government seemed unaware of the importance of inward immigration, with 100,000 non-EU workers currently resident in Ireland.
