FSCC to highlight priorites next year

The Food Safety Consultative Council has revealed a number of key priorities for the next year.

It will highlight the importance of the safety and quality of drinking water supplies and promote a food labelling system that best protects consumer health and interests.

The FSCC will also assist the Food Safety Authority in lobbying for the remit of on-farm food safety activities to cover the entire food chain.
