€45,000 worth of drugs discovered in Dublin flat

Another in a long line of drug seizures has taken place in Dublin over night.

Gardaí seized approximately €45,000 worth of ecstasy tablets and cannabis in a flat on Fitzgibbon Street.

They were assisted by Dublin’s North Central Drug Unit and the Garda National Drug Unit, following the arrest of a man in a city centre night club.

The drugs were found during a search of his flat.

He has been remanded in custody in Store Street garda station.
