Braun unions and management to meet

Talks are due to get underway today between management and unions representing staff at Braun Ireland.

Six hundred of the Carlow-based company's employees are on protective notice after both sides failed to sort out industrial relations problems at the plant.

German-owned Braun employs 750 people in the town, making hair-care products and other appliances.
