INTO threatens strike action over 'appalling' school buildings

Primary school teachers have threatened to mount a series of strikes this term unless the Government takes urgent action to address the "appalling" condition of some school buildings.

The Irish National Teachers Organisation said last night that its members were growing increasingly angry about sub-standard buildings and the Government’s failure to refurbish or rebuild them.
