Missing Carlow girl found

The search for missing Carlow schoolgirl, Amanda Shine, has ended with the arrest of a man in Dublin.

Amanda, 14, disappeared from her school last Monday afternoon and was thought to have gone on the run with a twenty-four year old man.

Amanda was found by Gardaí at Connolly Train Station, in the capital, at half past nine last night.

Gardaí from the National Bureau of Criminal Investigation are holding the man at Store Street Garda Station.

Amanda was also taken to Store Street for medical examination and appeared to be in good health.
