Sinn Féin has claimed that many parents are being forced to drop out of the Vocational Training Opportunities Scheme due to Government cutbacks in childcare assistance.

Party spokesman Sean Crowe said the Government had recently told people involved in the scheme that they were no longer eligible for childcare assistance.
