AGSI seeks evidence to support garda bribery claims

The Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors has called on Justice Minister Michael McDowell to provide evidence of a newspaper claim that some members of the gardaí were accepting bribes from journalists.

The AGSI said Mr McDowell’s apparent acceptance of the claim had tarnished An Garda Siochana.
