McDowell and US Attorney General hold talks in Dublin

Justice Minister Michael McDowell held private talks with US Attorney General John Ashcroft in Dublin this morning.

The two men discussed EU-US relations and Ireland’s role in the so-called "war on terrorism".

The meeting took place at the Department of Foreign Affairs.
