Plane crashes in Kerry

Gardaí are investigating reports of a light plane crashing in Co Kerry.

An air and ground search of a large mountainous part of Dingle Peninsula has been launched.

Officers from Dingle and a coastguard helicopter have been drafted to help in the search.

Three eyewitnesses reported seeing an aircraft coming down near Lispole around 6pm this evening
