Gardaí fear revenge attacks after Dublin murder

Gardaí in Dublin are preparing for possible revenge attacks following the murder of a man with gang connections in the city at the weekend.

Bernard Sugg, who was allegedly a member of the so-called Westies gang, was shot dead in a pub in Blanchardstown on Sunday night.

Gardaí believe the execution of the 23-year-old was carried out by a rival drugs gang.

Mr Sugg was the 12th person to die in gang-related violence in Ireland this year.
