Neary appeal deadline looming

Disgraced doctor Michael Neary has until today to appeal the Irish Medical Council's decision to strike him off the official register of doctors for professional misconduct.

Dr Neary, who worked as an obstetrician at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Co Louth, was found guilty earlier this year of needlessly removing the wombs of ten women.
