A group lobbying for an easing in the proposed smoking ban is calling on the Minister for Health to publish the legal advice he has received on the ban.

The Irish Hospitality Industry Alliance have asked the minister to clarify how private homes would be exempt on constitutional grounds yet nursing homes and bed and breakfast establishments, some of which are run from private homes, would not.
