Unionist hits back at Donaldson speech

A senior Ulster unionist has hit out at a speech made by leading anti-agreement MP, Jeffrey Donaldson.

David McNarry, a leading aide to party leader, David Trimble, has accused Mr Donaldson of trying to cynically side-step democratic decisions.

Mr Donaldson had called on Unionists to unite and decide where they were going, but Mr McNarry said that unionists had already decided and that any disunity had actually been caused by Mr Donaldson himself.
