Police probe report of rooftop gunman
Police in Belfast are investigating reports that a rifle was pointed at a train driver as he headed into the city.
The driver and conductor saw a youth kneeling on a flat roof pointing the weapon in their direction at around 5.40pm yesterday in the south of the city.
Their train had just stopped at a red signal next to Donegall Avenue and Sane Street. The conductor and driver were treated for shock.
The teenager was described as being of a slim build.
Police at Musgrave Street station appealed to members of the public for information.
