Gardaí in Mullingar are launching an investigation into a fatal accident on the N4 Dublin to Sligo road today.

Gardaí in Mullingar are launching an investigation into a fatal accident on the N4 Dublin to Sligo road today.

One person died and six others were injured, two seriously. It happened at Coralstown, between Mullingar and Kinnegad just after 11am.

Three vehicles were involved in the crash. Any witnesses are asked to contact Mullingar gardaí.
