Family receives report into Róisín's death
The Eastern Regional Health Authority has completed its report into the death of a two-year-old girl following the postponement of her planned heart surgery at Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children in Dublin.
The report into the death of Róisín Ruddle on June 30 was delivered to the girl's family last night.
Health Minister Micheál Martin is due to review the document this morning, but it is still unclear if its findings will be made public.
Róisín Ruddle's planned operation was cancelled due to a lack of intensive care nurses in the Crumlin hospital.
