Body 'with gunshot wounds' found in Dublin

Gardaí in Dublin are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man whose body was found in the Finglas area this morning.

The body was found at around 5.20am on Dunsink Lane.

Gardaí said it appeared the victim, who has yet to be identified, died from gunshot wounds.

The scene has been preserved for technical examination and a post mortem will be carried out later today.
