Young girl critical after Co Louth fire

A young man is in a critical condition following a fire at a school in Co Louth last night.

A young girl is in a critical condition following a fire at a school in Co. Louth last night.

The teenager, who suffered 40% burns to her body, was found in the school-yard of St Nicholas National School in Dundalk.

She is believed to have been in a small shed on the school premises where the fire broke out shortly before 11pm last night.

She is being treated at St James's Hospital in Dublin.

Two boys, also in their teens, are receiving treatment for wounds from the fire.
