Govt set to pass new waste bill

The Green Party says householders will be unable to challenge the imposition of waste collection fees if the Government succeeds in pushing through new laws before the Dáil's summer recess.

The protection of the environment bill is among 11 pieces of legislation due to be passed before the Dáil wraps up this week.
