Ireland's laws 'don't recognise gay couples'
Gay community leaders are stepping up their campaign for harmonisation of Ireland's partnership rights.
They said the law does not recognise same sex couples when it comes to tax and inheritance, property and guardian issues, and immigration.
The grievances have been aired at a special one-day forum in Dublin hosted by the Labour party.
Managing Director of Gay Community news, Marie Mulholland, said Ireland is falling behind other EU countries.
