Loyalists in Belfast have claimed bandsmen were attacked by a nationalist mob in the city.

Loyalists in Belfast have claimed bandsmen were attacked by a nationalist mob in the city.

The claim comes after a loyalist parade passed off peacefully at a west Belfast peace line today.

Henry Brown, a spokesman for the Protestant Interface Network, said he saw hundreds of youths stoning three or four bus-loads at Clifton Street in north Belfast.

He claimed; “It was the most scary thing I have seen in a long time.”

A spokeswoman for the Police Service of Northern Ireland said they were not aware of any attack.
