Gardaí appeal for witnesses to Wicklow accident

Gardaí at Avoca in Co Wicklow are appealing for witnesses to an accident that happened at lunchtime today.

Two teenage girls aged 13 and 15 years old, were struck by a trailer being towed by a tractor while out walking.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene and removed to Loughlinstown hospital where a post mortem will be carried out.
