Brennan: Connex move 'not a concern'
The Minister for Transport has said the decision to withdraw a rail contract from Connex in England is not a concern.
It has been stripped of its licence to run Connex South East, with three years still to run.
The company has been awarded the licence to operate the Luas rail in Dublin.
It has around 250 other contracts around the world.
Minister Seamus Brennan said the withdrawal is more to do with funding than incompetence.
But the company has been criticised for failing to meet targets on improving its service.
