A British soldier has told the Saville Inquiry that his colleagues did not fire any shots from the walls of Derry on Bloody Sunday, when the British army killed 13 Catholic civil rights marchers.

Several civilian witnesses have already told the tribunal that they saw soldiers opening fire from the walls on January 30, 1972.
