Rejected Romanian gives birth on ferry

A Romanian woman who gave birth on a ferry after being refused entry to Ireland by officials at Rosslare yesterday is said to be doing well.

The woman was one of six people turned back by the authorities here when they arrived at the port yesterday, but immigration authorities here say they weren't aware the woman was heavily pregnant.
