FG neutrality plan to be presented

Fine Gael leader Enda Kenny is due to present his party's policy on military neutrality to the leaders of the European People's Party later today.

Fine Gael believes Ireland should abandon neutrality and participate in the development of a common EU defence policy.

The EPP, of which Fine Gael is a part, is a coalition of 22 political parties represented in the European parliament.
