Post offices throughout the country were closed today following unofficial action by members of the country’s Communications Workers’ Union over a reorganisation and pay row.

Post offices throughout the country were closed today following unofficial action by members of the country’s Communications Workers’ Union over a reorganisation and pay row.

The dispute led to the closure of more than 20 major premises, including the GPO in Dublin’s O’Connell Street.
