Fewer injuries in workplace: report

The Health and Safety Authority has revealed that 61 people died in workplace accidents in Ireland last year.

However, in its annual report for 2002, the HSA also said the rate of serious injuries in Irish workplaces fell by 14% in the preceding four years.
