Clare County Council has refused planning permission for the Lisdoonvarna Music Festival.

Clare County Council has refused planning permission for the Lisdoonvarna Music Festival.

The event, due to be headlined by Christy Moore, was due to return on June 28 after an absence of twenty years.

The Council cited traffic congestion, unsuitable car parking and noise levels as reasons why the festival cannot take place.
