Gardaí seek driver after caravan smash
Gardaí were tonight hunting a van driver whose caravan became unhooked and careered across a main road, seriously injuring three people.
The accident happened early today on the Dublin to Belfast road when the caravan broke off from the Hiace van, which was travelling towards the north.
It crossed the road and hit a southbound Volkswagen van, seriously injuring the driver and two passengers.
Gardai said the driver of the Hiace fled the scene. They appealed for witnesses to come forward.
The crash happened at Corduff, Lusk, in Co Dublin.
