Call to halt garda-PSNI link-up

A bid to link the gardaí with the Police Service of Northern Ireland should be withdrawn in protest at the postponement of Assembly elections, Sinn Fein claimed today.

Caoimhghin O Caolain said the Government should not pass the Police Co-operation Bill in light of Britain’s “disgraceful decision” to defer the poll.
