Seven police officers injured in high speed car chase

Seven police officers were injured today after a car driver went on the rampage in Belfast, speeding around the city before ramming into three police vehicles.

Police stopped a green Rover in west Belfast at around 1.20am after spotting the driver drinking from a beer can, a Police Service of Northern Ireland spokeswoman said.
