Sinn Fein has urged the Government not to allow itself to be used as Britain's "messenger boy" during talks between the Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, and British Prime Minister Tony Blair today.

Sinn Fein expressed its anger with the Irish Government last week after Justice Minister Michael McDowell said he and his colleagues were "honest brokers" in negotiations on the Good Friday Agreement.
