Tanaiste says Celestica closure 'shocking'

The Tanaiste Mary Harney has described the closure announcement of the Celestica electronics plant in Swords, Co Dublin, as a shocking blow to the company's workforce and the local community.

In a statement released this afternoon, Ms Harney said the closure reflected the poor performance of telecommunications firms worldwide.
