Peace commitment fostering unrest, admits SF

Sinn Fein has admitted that the IRA's commitment to decommissioning caused internal dissension within the republican movement.

Speaking in Belfast today, party chairman Mitchel McLaughlin said many republicans believe that the IRA and Sinn Fein have given too many concessions in the absence of a unionist commitment to support the North's political institutions.
